Why Wizards of the Coast Is Making Digital-Only Magic Cards Speaking with Magic: The Gatherings Vice President of Design Aaron Forsythe and MTG Arenas Game Director Jay Parker last week, it became clear to me that WotC is using Jumpstart: Historic Horizons to take some confident but measured first steps toward whats possible for Magic digitally
Cardmarket The Cardmarket platform helps you to quickly get a rough idea of what your card might be worth
The thing I kept coming back to is that, when you Cartouche of Knowledge and bounce one of each Trial, you are getting a two-mana draw-three (and with incredible selection, as your draw-three includes an Edict and more card draw)
Seasons Beatings This card has some distinctly uncomfortable flavor, though I suppose the ability is fine
It still kills things later in the game very well but the life cost goes up and up
And Briarbridge Patrol lets you cheat a big creature into play if you sacrifice three or more Clues in a single turn which feels amazing once you set it up
