A great card for self-milling powerful instants and sorceries to cheat onto the battlefield

to 6 a.m

(2025-06-06) To determine the total cost of a spell, start with the mana cost or alternative cost you're paying (such as a flashback cost), add any cost increases (such as kicker costs), then apply any cost reductions (such as that of The Water Crystal's first ability)

Time has been kind to affinity since then and it now has plenty of options without any need of using old broken power cards to fill out the ranks

Demolisher Spawn Demolisher Spawn is a seven-cost (five generic and two green) enchantment creature with Trample and Haste

Also remember that some powerful cards were printed as rares because the mythic rarity didnt exist at the time, like Ancestral Recall, Timetwister, and Time Walk
