They cant repeatedly damage your opponent, but they make for great blockers and threatening attackers
A staple of both Mono-Red Aggro decks as well as Mardu Vehicles during it's time in Standard, Bomat Courier has also seen play in both Pioneer and Modern as a way for aggressive Red decks to gas back up on cards
This deck runs a full playset of the Elder Dragon, so it's easy enough to draw another copy or to bring back one from the graveyard with either Liliana, Death's Majesty or The Scarab God
Beagle Boys Small-Time Crooks and Kida Creative Thinker are decent in the deck and could be worth upping
Still, Sivitris -3 is a Sarkhan's Triumph and the -7 threatens a one-sided Crux of Fate, so theres enough synergy to make it work if you can find the blue and black dragons to tie it all together
