From Aether Spellbomb to Tainted Sigil (a criminally underplayed card), you have loads of choices
Cards like Courser of Kruphix and Tireless Tracker are exceptional here but will be snatched up by any green deck, so it might be good for some of those payoffs to demand/reward a stronger commitment I'd consider Wayward Swordtooth as a more balanced version of the extra lands effect with a subgame that's fun and attainable (and not just by you!) 1) in my experience so far, this deck tends to be pretty mana hungry
So why does television do it
Shortly after this card was previewed, it dawned on most Modern players that this One Ring to Rule them All would become One Ring to Rule Modern for several reasons: 1) almost any deck can play it and/or wants to play it, 2) its ETB ability single-handedly shifts the state of the game, 3) it provides massive card advantage, 4) it's abusable
In AFR s classic rulebook frame showcase art, the cards evoke a sense of Monster-Manual-familiarity on the D&D side while inspiring a sense of adventurous exploration on the MTG side
It's great in flicker or blink decks where you can reset it and keep the vengeance going
