The strategy here is to defend against enemy monsters using the various effects of low level monsters until you are able to either synchro summon or XYZ summon a more powerful monster to go on the offensive, but Crystal Beast Amethyst Cat has been selected as the deck master due to the powerful combo of Spiritual Forest, Mage Power, and the cards own ability to attack the opponents life points directly for half damage as well as enter the spell and trap zone upon destruction in battle as opposed to being sent to the graveyard
