The Dragons with Adventures attached help provide some cheaper spell options while having Dragons you can cast later
you're more likely to have your best draw when you can find your best creature, or at least the creature best suited for a given situation
What makes it good though in the flash, so you can flash this big body to block or smash someone who dares to attack you, or to flesh out and play that spell from your graveyard in response to something unsightly
They allow you sacrifice Creatures to make +1/+1 counters, remove counters to creatre Treasure tokens, and sacrifice Artifacts to make Creatures
You can use anthems that give every creature a boost in power/toughness, or artifacts that let you draw cards whenever a creature dies
