As long as you kill your opponent fast enough, it wont matter if they get a couple of extra lands

The Herald will need some way to cheat it into play, whether its reanimation or similar, but its effect can be game breaking if youve a way to protect it

It also draws you cards, which makes it easier to consistently play humans to trigger owyns ability

The key is to take the monarch and never give it up, because once you keep that advantage rolling, you are in a strong position to win

In this case, you can return a land card from your graveyard to your hand, deal one damage to any target and give yourself the ability to recast instants and sorceries in your graveyard
