Windfall is a very good Magic card, but so is Bottomless Pit and that card really only gets talked about when they print the most boring, overpowered and one-sided commander

At the very best, youre getting an 8/8 with trample for 5 mana, another wurm from your hand with your newfound pseudo-Phyrexian mana, and a +1/+1 counter across the board, plus another wurm off of Baru, Wurmspeaker if you can swing it

It sort of rudely grabs each card from the bottom, and it would be easy to damage them otherwise

Well, yes and no -- Dig is still the most mana efficient way of doing this effect, but you have to be willing to exile a bunch of cards in order to do so
