You can only control 1 "Sandaion, the Timelord"
Rather than aiming to take out opponents as quickly as possible, Control decks aim to 'control' the board, depriving opponents of key resources through removal and counter spells, preventing opponents from assembling their win-conditions while assembling a win-condition of your own
That said, there are predictable price drivers that show up again and again
If it's your turn, you can play Maze's End or a different land card from your hand after its ability has resolved
For example you could start with a Build & Battle Kit which includes a 40 card deck and booster packs to build your deck, and eventually get Level 3 theme deck like the popular Mew VMAX League Deck
Again, without top-down design, this wouldn't be the case
