When it does work, it can copy anything from the extra draw trigger on The Immortal Sun to an annihilator trigger from one of the eldrazi titans
The term "ramp" in Magic: The Gathering refers to any spell card that generates a net positive amount of mana, whether that be through floating mana that expires at the end of the phase, lands placed onto your side of the field (though some count searching up lands to put into your hand as ramp as well), or artifacts and cards that create artifacts that can tap for mana
