Trostani being legendary hasnt hurt the five-mana creature as much as I thought it would because your opponent will assuredly have to remove it from the battlefield to be able to win the game, which makes having a second copy in your hand less of a drawback
There are a plethora of creatures that have activated abilities to transform themselves, like Aetherblade AgentAetherblade Agent, whose abilities can be given to Ultimecia thanks to Agatha's Soul CauldronAgatha's Soul Cauldron

Ive never heard of the Onakke before, though the idea of Ogre Spirit artificers is pretty neat
I don't know if a deck like Mono White Control would try to use it with Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, but this Saga, besides Summon: Bahamut, is the card category that tends to build lists around in the first few weeks, probably with Yuna, Hope of Spira
