It wont protect you from board wipes, but if you lose your commander you can simply reequip it when theyre back on board

Colorless Many players will find the card draw in their colors is more than enough to keep the cards flowing, but there are some reasonable colorless choices, particularly if your deck cares about artifacts

Neither side of this is really amazing, but maybe when you add both sides itll be good
