Crafted with Hyogo-grown Yamadanishiki rice polished to an extraordinary 35%
it strolls out of the glass with nonchalant notions of preserved red plums
2003 was the year of the "canicule" in Europe
you get dark cherry
There is again very good vibrancy and detail to the fleshy medium weight flavors that retain a certain rusticity on the equally refreshing finish that is clearly more structured
Francois Carillon, Puligny Montrachet Les Enseignieres 2023 750ML Bundle Crafted with Hyogo-grown Yamadanishiki riceThis is aromatically similar to the straight Puligny with perhaps a bit more floral influence. There is reasonable size and weight to the more finely textured, if less concentrated, flavors that display excellent power and length on the ever so mildly warm finale that could also use better depth.
