The stone is set into a close back solid gold frame attached to a new gold band tailored by my jeweller to fit the frame perfectly

There are two small hallmarks on the clasp of the brooch

The charm dates to the Victorian period and is French in origin

The ring remains in remarkable condition for its age

Antique Victorian Shagreen Fitted Heart Charm & Box Mother Of Pearl 29th April 1944'A very special antique silver paste heart that comes in a beautiful fitted shagreen box, marked with the initials 'M. O' dated 1896. I am not sure whether the heart is original to the box but it was purchased as is and does fit perfectly. Both charm and box are in good antique condition.
