We then follow the path back to the National Park Centre and some well-deserved refreshments

We continue on and head for the trig point at Carlton Bank (408m) having admired the views turn right and head off down to Lord Stones Café (refreshments can be taken if open) but still a good place to have a packed lunch

Osmotherley by the Drove Road private-guided the Mallyan Spout8 Miles (13km) with about 4 hours walking, we will meet up in Osmotherley village square at 10am for a 10. 30 start. This is a pleasant walk following woodland paths, moorland tracks and a little bit of road. We leave the village and head off on the Cleveland Way towards South Wood and follow the Cleveland Way across Scarth Wood Moor, after a small road section we join the Hambleton Drove Road near to Cod Beck Reservoir and head south to Square corner
