Tamahagane is the traditional steel produced in Japan for centuries

We restored it  to be shave ready and added a rattan wrapping with black Urushi Lacquer

All our vintage Kamisori's will be shipped with a free blade protection sheet for free to avoid that the cutting edge will touch anything during the transport

Teramasa・寺正・Tamahagane Kamisori gift for men but we can recognise itA rare vintage Showa period Tamahagane kamisori by Teramasa. New Old Stock never used, with some light staining on the Ura side. Forged from pure Tamahagane the same traditional steel used for Samurai swords, made from iron sand. Fitted with a traditional Japanese rattan handle wrapping. Presented in a handcrafted paulownia wood box with engraving. Shave ready.
