2015 Ch̢teau Revelette Coteaux d'Aix en Provence Ros̩ New bottle and package forThe Revelette is a decidedly more mineral driven style than most ross you encounter from the appellation of Coteaux d'Aix. Winemaker Peter Fischer keeps to minimalist intervention, even here in his ros, preserving freshness but letting the terroir speak clearly. The wine has a weighty texture, underlying acidity, notes of strawberry blossoms and wet cobblestones. It is pure and fresh and for well under $20 rivals many of the ross from Bandol.
