The MOUNTAINS Collection, and this piece, is an exploration of brush + line, using the metaphorical form of MOUNTAIN to see how the marks of paintbrush and pen or pencil, with their contrasting textures, can work together. to model the tactile surfaces of land. This is one of the more abstract visions of the MOUNTAINS Collection. A monochromatic landscape of peaks and valleys worn by brilliant blue watercolor, black ink and
