Draw Knife log home This pares great with myI forge these in the traditional manner. I forge the main body out of mild steel with high carbon steel forge welded on the bottom side for the cutting edge. The cutting edge is about 6. 75 inches long. Overall length of the spine is about 11 inches. Overall length of the wooden handles are about 6 inches (including copper bolster). These come razor sharp and ready to use.
