Ghoum Trellis - Arts & Crafts by William Morris pink rug With proper maintenance tailored toOverview This beautiful pure wool rug has been inspired by the famous 19th century British textile designer William Morris. The trellis motif is a traditional element and can be found in designs from all periods but Morris took the motif and made it his own. He simplified the trellis into perfect squares, sketched in some lines simulating woodgrain without suggesting depth, added some climbing roses and bluebirds, and created a classic.
