Vintage Mens 1950s Burton Double Breasted Overcoat Coat Brown Checked Wool DB Belted UK L XL 1970s Plus fours are full-cut &A superb vintage 1950s overcoat, made in 1954 by 'Montague Burton' from a thick & slightly fleecy wool Prince of Wales or glen plaid cloth in shades of brown with a subtle reddish overcheck. It is 6 button double breasted with broad lapels, has quite heavily padded shoulders, cuffs with 4 decorative buttons, 2 flapped lower pockets with brushed cotton linings, & a belt with a leather covered buckle; the buttons are a very pleasing marbled early
