The brown wooden handle has toned to a nice warm brown color. There is a small chip on the obverse, to the left side just under the top fitting and a scratch on the reverse. The nickel silver eagle and the enameled SA runic button are excellent. The eagle has a nice tone that complements the color of the wooden handle.
