2000 Turley "Rattlesnake Acres" Napa Valley Petite Syrah John is a big fan

John is a big fan of this vintage

The dense purple-tinged

But the weight and overall structure are very clearly those of the Santa Cruz Mountains

almost salty

Very juicy and lively in feel

2000 Turley "Rattlesnake Acres" Napa Valley Petite Syrah John is a big fanThe 2000 Petite Syrah Rattlesnake Acres is a behemoth. There are 300 cases of this opaque purple colored effort. It is tremendously perfumed, offering up scents of white flowers, licorice, cassis, blackberries, and espresso. This dense, full bodied, and evolved, offering may be civilized enough to drink in 10 years. It has 25 years of life ahead of it. (RP)
