at some spots the coating and outside lacquer is a bit dull and flaked off

It was never used before and just had a few spots that needed restorative attention

have a much higher hardness and will keep their smooth shaving quality for much longer before having to sharpen them again

Slightly soft with an effective grit range of 6000+. Known for its creamy feel, ease of control, and ability to produce a refined kasumi finish. You will get the stone on the picture.
