Escudo Rojo - Chardonnay Gran Reserva 2024 (750ml) Washington Yakima Valley Chardonnay Based on 2010 Renner GrünerPale yellow with glittering green highlights. The very intense, fruit forward nose reveals aromas of citrus fruit mingled with pear compote, rose petal and lemon verbena, accompanied by notes of lightly toasted nuts and hints of marzipan from time spent in oak. A solid attack leads into a mineral palate that is complex, substantial and succulent, with refreshingly crisp acidity. Citrus flavors return on the long and lingering finish.
