Here we have a superb, textbook example of an early Cold War British Home Front Civil Defence Corps (CDC) wool beret. This item is in beautiful vintage condition and Features the correct pre 1953 King's Tudor Crown embroidered Civil Defence Corps badge with the central gold statant guardant lion. On the inside lining are remenants of the original white ink contract stamp reading: J. COMPTON
