Youthful and bright

2017 Mazis-Chambertin, Grand Cru, Domaine Denis Mortet, Burgundy Size:75cl founded in 1798 on OrkneyRich centre to the wine, plump and straight forward, nicely oaked, with considerable weight but it isnt quite singing. Nonetheless good to see an elegant rather than a massive wine here. More a question of discretion rather than not singing, Jasper Morris MW (December2018)
