Luccarelli Primitivo Puglia Primitivo A sustained garnet-red hue withA wine from the Farnese group. From the province of Manduria, this is made mostly from old bush vine grapes, the balance trellised 20 years + vines. Aged in 2nd and 3rd fill barriques for 6 8 months. Lovely black and morello cherry on the nose with red and blackberries and vanilla oak. Rich with some real fruit sweetness on the palate, black cherry plum, a hint of raisin and oak. It's creamy and dense with some bittersweet characters.
