Tenuta Atzei - Saragat Monica di Sardegna 2023 (750ml) Friuli-Venezia Giulia Fresh with medium structureWhile generally not vinified as a mono varietal, Atzei found their sources of Monica to be exemplary on their own. One of Sardinias most widely planted varietals, the style is refreshing and uplifting, with a brief period in small format oak providing an extra layer of body and complexity. As the grapes are sourced from a number of vineyards across the area of Mogoro, the wine expresses a range of elevations, exposures, soil types, and micro climates.
