the Morgante family started bottling their own wine under the guidance of Riccardo Cotarella in the mid-1990s

Bright cherry and violet fruit on the nose underlaid by mineral tension in the midpalate

this blend of nearly 75% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot with a suggestion of Cabernet Franc was slow to open but with time produced polished aromas of red and blackberry fruit with hints of graphite

These are reflected on the palate with the addition of mineral notes and appealing citrus acidity through to the finish
