The K-TOOL from Fire Hooks Unlimited the Mini PB got itsWhen all else fails, there's alway the tried and true! Invented in 1972 by FDNY firefighter (and licensed locksmith) William McLaughlin, the K Tool was the first commercially produced through the lock tool made specifically for firefighters. While we'd recommend the S&D Rex or one of the other Rex Tools (also made by Fire Hooks Unlimited) over the K Tool, the K does still does a good job of pulling rim and mortise cylinders.
