with 2 smaller ones below the collar (arrowed) & 3 on the upper right sleeve (circled) plus a few pinholes & some surface tracking which the camera couldn't see - some wear & nibbles to the buttons

Apart from the zip fly this is not really very different to Burton suits made in the late '40s

a faint line of what appears to be orangey glue residue (from manufacture) on the inside right edge of the left wing tip

In excellent unused condition

Fully lined with taupe rayon twill fabric

Original Vintage 1940s 1950s Home Made Dress Sandy Mustard Yellow UK XS 1930s with 2 smaller ones belowA vintage late 1940s or early 1950s dress, home made from a textured, drapey fabric which feels like a cotton rayon blend in a sandy mustard colour. It has a fitted dolman bodice, V neckline with pointed 'wing' collar intended to stand up a bit, & T shaped front seam with gathers to give shape at the bust; the 8 gore skirt is very flared & gathered into the waist, & there is a side opening with silver metal zip with a nice pointed puller.
