Hidalgo Pastrana Manzanilla Pasada Sherry Wine (750ml) NV Loureiro citrus zest and salted lemonThe Pastrana Manzanilla Pasada is unique in several ways. First and foremost it is the result of grapes from a single vineyard that has been owned by the Hidalgo family since the 1700's that is located between Jerez and Sanlucar. Second it is aged about 12 years, which is 7 to 8 more than a typical Manzanilla. It is is only lightly filtered, which keeps the color a bit darker and the flavors noticeably richer than it's younger sybling, La Gitana.
