The whole peninsula is covered in the wonderful orange Montbretia throughout the summer months, also known as Crocosmia. For people living here it is an ever encroaching troublesome plant that takes over if given the chance! It has a bulb which reproduces prolifically and actually June spent many hours digging them out of her garden, to the tourist
