A vintage Meiji - period kamisori crafted by Matsubara (松原)

with some light staining on the Ura side

We also added a Rattan handle wrapping and lacquered it with several layers of Urushi

Restored by us to exceptional sharpness and shave ready condition. This Razor is New Old Stock, we only removed som surface rust and blued it and put the first sharp edge on it. We also have added a new Rattan Handle wrapping and Urushi lacquer. Includes a handcrafted Japanese paulownia box with engraving.
