This is a fascinating Champagne whose dusty/mineral purity reminds me of steely lean Chablis

it hits the palate with full-bodied richness

A red wine made mainly from Pinot Noir and a touch of Négrette

revealing lovely woody notes

medium round tannins and a savory finish
