1929 SIVIR Banyuls Grand Cru Vin Doux Naturel Pinotage darker raspberriesAged in old casks and bottled in the year 2000. Produced from grapes grown by SIVIR, a collective of grower producers in the Roussillon, particularly from Banyuls and Collioure. To be called Grand Cru, a Banyuls must be at least 75% Grenache. The wine has spicy aromas, with notes of pepper and cinnamon. There are flavors of dried figs and mocha, and roasted nuts. A rare experience!
