Alex Israel: Self-Portrait (Blue Face) 2010 A special section dedicated toIn Self Portrait (Blue Face) (2017), a print produced by Mixografia, Alex Israel depicts his own sunglasses clad face in profile, replacing his features with smoothly gradated color fields. Editioned in six different color combinations, Self Portrait features a white outline of the artists head in raised relief with a hollow, contoured interior. Making use of a 1980s style palette that juxtaposes neon and pastel hues, Israel evokes the distinctive
