Harrier 'Jump' Jet Engine Blades Mirror model In 1941 they began aSpectacular set of cast Titanium radial blades from a Rolls Royce Pegasus Turbofan Jet Engine. Mounted in a section of highly polished Aluminium engine housing and re modelled as a wall mirror. The Pegasus engine employs a thrust vectoring system that uses four swivelling nozzles, meaning it is able to provide thrust both for forward propulsion, and more unusually for lift thus allowing for V STOL flight.
