Despite having been in Napa for almost 100 years you can taste the mineral drive that I associate with many Italian whites

including some estate grown grapes

this tastes delicious from the first whiff to the lingering finish

especially for the Bordeaux varieties

2013 Enkidu "Bedrock Vineyard" Sonoma Valley Zinfandel Despite having been in NapaThe 2013 Zinfandel Bedrock Vineyard has a brooding, primordial character with a dark ruby plum purple color, forest floor, pepper, meat, herbs, and red and black fruits. It is elegant, medium to full bodied, and by no means over extracted or too rich. A nice take on Zinfandel from this famous source, it should drink well for 4 5 years. (RP)
