2013 Alexander Valley Vineyards "Wetzel Family Estate" Cabernet Sauvignon the 2014 Cotes du Rhone87% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest mostly Merlot with a little Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot. The wine has a dark ruby purple color and lovely blackcurrant, licorice infused notes with subtle background wood spice. It is ripe, has an excellent texture, is medium bodied and is best drunk over the next 3 4 years. (RP)
