2014 S.C. Pannell "Old McDonald Vineyard" Grenache McLaren Vale South Australia I bought two bottles ofNew name, same vineyard source for Pannell's Grenache. This has a beautiful sense of purity and pared back raspberry fruit aromas, other brambly forest fruits, some wild cherries too. The palate's bursting with deep flavorsome raspberry and redcurrant flavor, terrific depth and detail, great balance too, driving long and even on fine, juicy and lithe tannins. Drink now or age for 8+ years to get the best of this.
