The Sichel family purchased the estate in 1961 and has revived the fortunes of this pretty lakeside chateau. The combination of sand and gravel soils found in this area of southern Margaux are ideal to support both Cabernet Sauvignon and a high proportion of Merlot. La Dame d`Angludet is made from the same vineyards and with the same dedication as Chateau Angludet itself.
