Perfect for small or medium size concert bands or orchestras and for synthetic xylophones (like Keylon). Clear and clean sound but not as bright and loud as the hard version. On bells these sticks are very warm but still clear enough for small groups. The handle is arrow straight, very comfortable to hold and similar in flex to rattan. Far superior sound
