Max Roach – We Insist! Freedom Now Suite (Clear Vinyl LP, Candid Reissue) – NM/NM british Originally released in 1962A fiercely committed work blending avant garde jazz, African rhythmic elements and Abbey Lincolns striking vocal performance. The music shifts between tightly structured passages and freer, emotionally charged sections that push the ensemble into raw, urgent territory. It remains one of the most powerful artistic statements of the early 1960s jazz and civil rights movement. Candid Records, 2022. Cover and Sleeve in pristine condition graded Near Mint.
