It blooms in January with bright yellow crinkly petals and is a welcomed sight in the cold of winter. Ramsay would take several pictures of a Witch Hazel which lives on the south side of her building. Back in her studio, she would then feed the colors she documents into a computer program, analyzing them and using the analyses to mix paint.
